I believe in creating art and capturing emotion.

I’ve been practicing photography in one form or another for nearly 20 years, alongside a background in graphic design and a bachelor’s degree in art. Visual storytelling has always been part of how I express myself and relate to others. Having a good eye, noticing details, and anticipating emotion matter to me just as much as the moments themselves.

I don’t approach weddings as just a checklist to complete, but as a full experience to observe and capture creatively. I’m not recreating moments I’ve seen a hundred times before. I’m paying attention to what’s real.

My work is less about documenting and more about creating images that feel unique, expressive, and timeless, while still thoughtfully capturing the day. I’m drawn to quiet in-between moments, creative composition, and romance that's authentic rather than staged or overly trendy. To me, a wedding isn’t a performance. It's a deeply personal life event.

I’m based in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, where landscape and nature have always influenced my art. My camera saw plenty of sunsets and flowers long before I ever imagined I'd be a wedding photographer. I’m also a mom, pescatarian, thrift lover, and a hopeless romantic at heart.

If you’re drawn to authenticity, emotion, and timeless style, we’ll probably be a perfect fit.
